Certification
Ontario Certified Teacher
It took a lot of hard work and dedication to my studies and classroom placements, but it was worth it! I was able to become a member of the Ontario College of Teachers in 2015.

Comments
Vice Principal Observations
At Heritage Christian School, the administration acknowledges the importance of ongoing assessment of teachers. Both the principal (Brian Bosch) and vice principal (Greg Slingerland) occasionally observe my classroom, leaving me with some notes of encouragement and critique.
Faculty Associate Comments
The Redeemer Education Program ensures that knowledgeable and caring faculty associates oversee each teaching placement. I had the pleasure of being encouraged and challenged by Karen Gerritsma. To the left, I've provided comments that Professor Gerritsma wrote while observing me teach.
Associate Teacher Final Evaluation (Bill Wensink, Heritage Christian School)
The associate teacher is the teacher with whom you learn to collaborate with during teaching practicum. To the left, I've included my final evaluation from my first practicum at Heritage Christian School, along with an encouraging card from Bill Wensink.

This card was written by a huge group of home schoolers who visited Redeemer's dome every Wednesday morning, where a group of my peers and I would lead them through physical activities.

It might be an exaggeration, but I appreciate it all the same!
